About this Brochure
FirstLine® is Datwyler's proprietary and most advanced manufacturing standard, designed specifically to produce pharmaceutical rubber components for biotech and high-end pharmaceutical markets within a fully integrated Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) cleanroom environment. The concept is built on green-field facility design, validated ultra-modern cleanroom technology, automated production cells, fully automated high-level camera inspection, and a unique validated washing process—all operated under a zero-defect philosophy. A meticulous zoning concept with material airlocks and state-of-the-art pass-through washing equipment ensures the lowest endotoxin, bioburden, particulate, and visible and sub-visible defect levels available in the industry, exceeding the most stringent European and US regulatory requirements and certified to ISO 15378. FirstLine® aligned facilities are strategically located in Belgium, India, and the United States, with additional manufacturing sites in Italy, Germany, and China, providing global supply coverage while maintaining identical quality standards. The standard is the exclusive manufacturing environment for Datwyler's proprietary fluoropolymer spray-coated elastomers—OmniFlex® and NeoFlex™—used in pharmaceutical vials, prefilled syringes, and cartridges for biologics and biosimilars.
